Hi Kelly,

I just wanted to update you on Santa. He is absolutely wonderful. There was no sign of him being sad or down, instead he had many visitors and is quite happy. He is very playful and is eating and going to the bathroom great! So there doesnt seem to be any problems with that whatsoever. He is perfect in every way and he's being such a great pup! Even as I am writing you this email he is sleeping in my lap. I thought you might also like some pictures of him so I've included those as well...You can absolutely use my information on your website, I want people to know how wonderful and playful your puppies are. Thank-you once again! Until next time!

Hey Kelly,

Wesley is just the cutest dog in the world! It is so funny because my husband is a “big” dog lover. Westie we thought was as small as he’d go until I talked him into this. The puppy can be found most evenings asleep on his chest as he lies on the couch! He really likes him. Wesley has a very “big” personality. He gets in the crouch position and charges our Noah. They are the best of friends. Noah plays with him but realizes his size and is very gentle with him also. They get a good work out together. It’s just like he’s a regular baby. His schedule is play with Noah and get tired go take a nap. Get up and eat and play some more and then more sleep. Wesley thinks he’s big and goes up to him and barks at him like he’s his equal. He is a pretty adventurous puppy and I can see him getting more ornery. Kyley is so happy to have him. He sleeps in his crate in her room every night and she gets up like he’s a baby with him if he needs to go out. He’s hardly getting up at night now at all. He knows what he’s outside to do when he’s there but I can’t tell you he hasn’t had any accidents either. He didn’t want to poop in the snow this morning however. He is so little that the minute he gets outside he’s shivering. I promise to send pictures of him soon to update you. I had meant to email you when we got home and just got so busy I forgot but my vet (also a friend of mine) said it looked like we got him from a good breeder with the packet of information you sent. That was very professional and good info. He actually hasn’t seen her yet. His appointment is next week so I’ll let you know. We are all in love with him. Even my little guy who is 5. Actually he’s even a little scared of him. Not our bigger dog though which is funny. I think Wesley is just into toe and finger chewing and he’s afraid he might chase him down for those socks! Anyway thanks again and we’ll recommend you as a breeder.

Kelly,

1-3-05 You are most welcome for the card, we appreciate all you have done for my fiance and I. We absolutely love Zeus, he is a bundle of fun. He is very active and playful. We were playing with him so much, then he would fall asleep on my chest. I love that little tike so much. So does my fiance, we both fight over playing with him..lol He is also eating very well, we have to hand feed him at times though. He is going to the bathroom pretty good. He has had some accidents but that is very normal. He peed on the paper today and he got a treat! Thanks again so much. Ill email yousome pics of him tonight!! Thanks, Heather Indiana

Hi, Kelly! I wanted to let you know that Gracie is the most adorable pup I have ever seen. She goes from hopping around the house like a bunny to being a snuggle bunny on my lap. She does a real good job of using the piddle pads with just an occasional accident. She seems to be adjusting to her new home very well – or should I say taking over her new home real well ?? I am pretty sure she thinks she is the boss. Haha! She evens tries to take on our 12 year old dog that weighs almost 20 pounds! Oh, I also want to add how smart she is – she even tries to help me with my laptop computer. She loves to pounce on the keyboard and attack the screen! She does need a little work on her typing skills though! We made our first trip to our vet this week. He remarked on how well she was doing and that I obviously got her from a good and reputable breeder. He gave her a clean bill of health and we start on our wellness program next week. Also I want to thank you for all the assistance and information that you have provided. As I had mentioned to you before, I had checked into some local pups – but was not convinced that they were trust worthy breeders. I am SO GLAD that we decided to use you instead! You have been great to answer all of my dumb questions without making me feel too stupid and I want you to know I really appreciate that. I know that even though you live a couple of hours away, I can email or phone you anytime for help – and that means a lot to me! If you ever need anyone to vouch for you as a great breeder, just let me know. I would be more than glad to encourage anyone to purchase a pup from you. Gracie was obviously well loved and taken care of when we got her! And the puppy pack you provided also was quite helpful! If any prospective new parents are reluctant to get a pup from you, please give them my name, phone or email to contact as a reference for you as a breeder. Thanks again for everything. Kelly, Sorry I didn't write you sooner. Shady has been keeping me very busy! I just wanted to let you know that you really made my DREAM come true! Shady is doing great. She is adjusting very well to her new home. She has had many visitors and loves all the attention. She has been eating well and is going potty outside most of the time. We took her to our local vet and she said that Shady looks like a very healthy little dog. Our golden retriever, Shadow, loves her and treats her like her own baby. Shadow lets Shady play with her ears and tail. They go potty together and sleep together some times. Shadow even shares her stuffed toys with Shady. The two of them together are the cutest thing you have ever seen. I will send you a picture soon. Thanks again for making my DREAM come true. Lindsay Sandwich, ILL

Kelly, I just wanted to let you know that Cooper is doing great!! I love him sooo much. I miss him so much too! I am out of town and hate being away from him. I think I have showed everyone the pictures that I keep on my phone. Everyone just adores him. I tell you... I can't even take him anywhere. Mom and sister are taking care of him while am away. I think he is loving it. He gets to play outside a lot and go for lots of walks... despite his laziness. He tends to just plop down and rest right in the middle of the walk. It is so cute. His ears are standing up straight now. He has some big ears, but they are cute! He is doing awesome with his potty training. He has not had an accident for a long time now. He is such a loveable and playful boy. He does like his space when he is sleeping though. I just can't get over how he is so friendly and likes everyone he sees. He has to go up to everyone! He has lots of toys and loves to have the run of the house. And I mean run... he just sprints every where. It is so funny! We took some pictures on my digital camera a little while ago. I am going to send them to you as a forward. My sister had to send them to me from her computer, I am not sure how to insert them into this particular email! I think that I have already decided that I think I need another puppy when coopie gets bigger. He will need a friend. I am going to wait awhile (like a year) but since I think that Cooper is the best thing in the world, I will let you know when I am ready! You really do have the greatest dogs ever. Cooper is so awesome! Thanks again Kelly! Lindsey and Cooper Springfield, ILL
Hi Kelly, I’ve been meaning to e-mail you. Wini is doing greatJ She’s still little - only 2 lbs. 13 oz. on Feb 11 but her vet says she seems healthy & eating fine so he’s not concerned. I’m still feeding her the Eukanuba Puppy Formula and she’s been on the dry food only for about 1-1/2 months now. She lost interest in the canned food and the dry is much more convenient. The most she eats is ½ cup of the dry total in a whole day – and she gets 3 treats per day also. She has some retained puppy teeth that we’re keeping an eye on – her vet said he usually waits till 1 year old and if she still has them we may have to do something – she was loosing about 1 a week in Jan but that has slowed – she lost one this Tue night – they are so tiny! She loves to play with her toys, the ropes are her favorite – she will fetch it and bring it back for hours on end if we let her – and she is persistent…if she is ready to play she doesn’t give up! She has nylabones in her kennel when we are at work and really likes the dental one with the bumps all over it. She’s doing pretty well with housetraining, she does have accidents in her kennel which everything I read says they won’t soil their bed – apparently she didn’t read the same book! I think a lot of it is boredom or retaliation for having to be in her kennel. The longest is 4-1/2 hours at a time which I’m sure seems like a lifetime to her. She was really bad about pooping in her kennel and then kicking it out or trying to cover it up with her bedding and getting it on her paws…many paw washings later she seems to be much better about leaving it alone. She is just such a joy and a big part of our lives – everything revolves around “the baby”! I will try and get some pictures to you soon – the white/silver spot she had on her forehead has taken over her whole head – except for a tiny dot of tan on the top/center of her head – it’s so funny. And she has a little silver mixed throughout her black coat. She’s just adorable; we get lots of compliments on how cute she is! Have a great weekend; hope you and your family are doing well. OCT 3 2006 We adopted a beautiful puppy from the Anderson's. Noodles/Zoey is doing >well. She is very well socialized and has a lot of spunk. She may be small >but don't let looks deceive she is full of life. I have another dog who is >her partner in crime. She follows him everywhere he goes. She is great with >other dogs due to the great care that Kelly and her kids provided. We had >her checked out at the vet and they said she is very healthy. The vet was >amazed because he said that usually puppies from breeders don't have clean >ears and carry fleas but little Zoey didn't have either. He said that this >breeder is responsible and does a very good job of keeping her puppies >healthy! My experience with Kelly was awesome! Her family gave us a puppy >that we absolutely love and adore. She made this possible and we thank her >so much for it. Thank you for the great experience! > >~Lili > Desplaines, ILL >
APril/2006 Kelly, Hi! I just wanted to let you know that Lucy is doing so well! We have had a great, busy week! She is sleeping without crying during the night (all week since Monday night!), learning how to potty outside (for treats, of course!), and got her first bath here on Sunday night! The vet said she was healthy, she got her heartworm, next shot, and Frontline for flea prevention. She weighs 2.2 pounds! She is eating very well, as you can see! Lucy and Baxter love each other! Lucy is either following us or Baxter around the house at all times! They love to play with each other, chew on bones, run around the house, and cuddle at night or during the day when they are tired! As soon as I can, I'll send a picture of them together! They are adorable! I hope Jillian isn't missing her too much! The picture you sent of her with Lucy was so cute! I will be adding that to her scrapbook! We have been busy since we don't let her out of our sight, and she has figured out how to go up and down the stairs!! She is very quick! We can't believe how brave she is! Baxter never attempted the stairs until he was much older, and he was so much bigger than she is now! Her size definitely doesn't stop her! We continue to be so thrilled by her and how she is getting along so perfectly with Baxter each day! We love her so much and it seems like we've had her much longer than just a week! She's definitely one of the family already! I'll send pictures next week! Stacy, Foxlake ILL
Hi Kelly, Shhhhh. It's quiet! Thunder (Cricket) and Lightening (Lollypop) are curled up in the middle of the new , bunched up, piddle pad by Lollypop, of course. Just finished the afternoon rough house, and family play time and will probably nap for about and hour or so. Sorry I waited until now to answer your latest email. Have been taking the time when they are sleeping and the last two days of nice weather to plant some asparagus plants, spinach, mixed salad greens, and doing some clean up and trimming of shrubs, etc. Took the dogs outside yesterday for a few minutes to sit with us in the swing. It's difficult to get my thoughts organized when sharing about these two because one thought brings so many others to mind but here goes. Both are eating well. Energy level is high, High, HIGH! Both keep each other in view at all times. Even if they are three feet from each other, one on my husband's lap and one on mine for "family time". Ha! Both take turns at leading wrestling time although Lollypop is in the lead. They are really a wonderful match. Both like to snuggle in our arms but again, Cricket stays in one spot longer. Both are very affectionate with Cricket gentler in her kisses and Lollypop with her lick-lick-lick with her mind definitely looking for the next adventure. Both very good during grooming time just before their morning nap. Both know their names and come when called. Again, however, Lollypop doesn't stay long enough to be picked up and petted and praised for coming. She is satisfied to run to me, lick-lick , pat on the head and she's off! Lollypop's ears are both up. We went through the one up and one down for a few days. So many "antics" I could tell you about but will share just a couple as I am sure you are familiar with a lot of them. Cricket: Saw her one evening sitting very still, looking up at the T.V. She must have "told" Lollypop because there are times when they sit side by side, with full attention focused on the T.V. screen which is in a cabinet about five feet above them. All they need is a dish of treats in from of them to nibble on. Cricket has a couple of interesting habits (?). She sees her face in the stainless steel waterdish. Barks at it, licks it, paws it, then finally digs at the "face". Of course there is water flying everywhere and both are soaking wet. After two days of this I removed the water dish and hung a water bottle on the fence enclosure. That too was a novelty and they both used it on and off the rest of the day but when I put the water dish back in their "yard" , they drank a lot. (Trying different dishes didn't stop the personal bath time either.) She has behaved herself since then. But of course, there's always tomorrow. Today? She also has discovered her reflection and Lollypop's (as Lollypop runs back and forth behind her) in the French doors going to the sun room connected to our family room. Every time we Let them out of their yard in the evening to run around and play together and with us, she goes to the doors, stands up on her hind feet, barking at herself and Lollypop but still can't figure out where Lollypop disappears to when she chases Lollypop's reflection. Lollypop is also very creative. She chewed a hole in the piddle pad, climbed inside the pad and was have a great time rolling all over the floor in it. Got her out of it as soon as possible and removed the pad only to find her repeating the process again. Switched to newspapers. We then had confetti and different pictures being nibbled on. We're are back to piddle pads. Lollypop is the first to jump off the sofa while sitting on my daughter's lap. She was the first to go up and down the doggy stairs. The first to try and eat the buttons off our sofa followed by trying to dig them off. She flies our of the crate to land on top of Cricket for rough house time. The first and only one to actually CLIMB the fence. Has made it to the second cross bar. Two more to go and she over on the other side. Thank you for these two little bundles of dynamite. Lollypop Lightning Terrorist. and Cricket Thunder Terrorist. We love them bunches and bunches. Lollypop vomited last Sunday and didn't want to eat. I stayed home with her instead of going to sing at church. Checked her gums for dehydrations. They were pink. She was alert but listless so I gave her some Nutrical and she perked up about two hours later and ate and drank. Stool ok. I think she may have had some problem with a couple of liver treats from the day/evening before. No problems since. Cricket had no problem at all. I decided not to give these anymore. If you have any further advise, let me know. Long letter, I know but thought you might appreciate know ALL IS WELL. One last thing. Cindy's lab had her spaying surgery. Had laser procedure. One of the vet rules Any animal coming to this facility whether for surgery , observation, testing requiring and overnight or day long stay is given kennel cough prevention med. I feel good about that. So many have complained about kennel cough after boarding their animals. He will also check the pups teeth and remove any baby teeth necessary, place the micro chip when its time/ Guess that's all for now. Please keep in touch. I think you are the greatest and would recommend you to any one who is wanting and interesting activity program of roller skating, laughter, loving just for caring. July 2006 Hi Kelly, Just dropping you a note to let you know....Delaney is a joy to us. We love her so much. She has given us so much laughter and cuddling. She is a darling. All my family & friends think she's the cutest thing in the world! Some I have referred to your website so when they are ready to purchase they are going to come to you.. I recommend you highly. I have friends that have dealt with other breeders and when I tell them about your website and your dogs they think you surpass the others by far. Good Job Kelly! Anyway, I just thought I would send you 3 up-to-date pictures of Delaney. Take care Kelly. Maggie & Lisa Hammond, IN
APR/2006 Hi Kelly. This is Elyssia, and as you know I have one of your puppies, Malaya (Raisin). I just thought you would like some pics that are more recent! Malaya is doing so great! She is already house broken and knows a few basic comands! The first pic was taken a while ago, I had taken her to the groomer to get her trimmed up, since the hair in her face was irritating her eyes, but i think the groomer got a little carried away! O well, her hair is growing sooooo fast! I like it longer on the body, but it is nice to see her eyes! Malaya is such a Ham!!!!!!! The last pic she is smiling!!!! hahahaha....I Love IT!! Well, I'll talk to you later, Enjoy! Elyssia Champaign ILL
