Satin is an adult CKC female yorkshire terrier, but will come to you without papers. She was born July 1, 2003. She is 6 yrs old. She is a bigger stocky yorkie over 12 lbs. She has been a breeding female in our breeding program and now we are interested in finding Satin her forever spoiled PET home only. Satin would need a home with alot of patience for housetraining, since she has been in a kennel situation she would need trained just like a puppy. Crate training would probably be the best choice for success with Satin. I estimate it would take a good month or more with consistancy for Satin to adjust to a new home and be housetrained. Only the most patient of interested parties need inquire of her. We have inside/outside dog runs so Satin is used to using a doggie door. She is no stanger to coming in the house. Unlike ALice the first yorkie listed, Satin is a more nervous, high energy yorkie and will adjust more slowly to a new enviroment......I beleive she would do best in a single female person home Once she has adjusted to your home, she would be a very loyal companion. Satin is an excellent watch dog and will bite at the heels of strangers, she decides she doesnt like. Satin, like Peaches, prefers females over male people. SHe likes my husband but seems to be afraid of other men. Satin would do best to be the only pet in the household, until adjusted to a new enviroment, and would do better for a male dog to be her companion. Satin does very well with my children ( she loves my 6 and 8 yr old chidlren), but does not like chaos, and would do best in a quiet home. I am not sure how she would do with other chidlren. SHe would love to have a fenced yard to play in, and have a soft place to lay at night, and be petted, and get treats and be your bestfriend. . She would come to you not spay, with immunizations up to date except rabies which would need updated. Satin is in excellent health and has many yrs left to be a great pet. SHe has a very striking tan and very light blue coloring with a silky shiny coat. Due to the expense of the new owner needing to spay her and get her rabies updated, etc we are rehoming her free of charge. |
